I try to find my pace on your rhythm Cause I can hardly get what you are wishing I’ll bring you a drop of my geography And you will never get lost in my feelings Ink on your calendars, escape route signs Do you remember when you lost your light Patient reader, you don’t need more time Haven’t you seen how far you can fly Whenever you come to doubt the purpose of reading All the meanings look quite unclear and misleading Trust me, in any case, you can fall so safely As you know the value of failing Ink on your calendars, escape route below Do you remember when you lost your soul Patient reader, you don’t need to fall Haven’t you seen how far you can go

Sitting in front of them The air I breathe is thick And I’m sweating like never before my friend I can’t believe what you say I look at the eyes of your mates They are ghosts roaming around the floor They are thinking about their turn To be fired with just a note Oh I shouldn’t feel so alone, they say Unexpected trouble is hitting hard We won’t take any new staff Please don’t feel the light target in the dark Cause it’s the market choosing you, giving you a chance away from here You make the difference, dear, to hire and fire to accelerate our growth Business hires you, if it’s allowed to fire another one you know You only increase your value, if you let it turn to, let it turn to black so quick After some more empty phrases The speech ends with some less distance Between my dreams and my fears The drawbacks come kicking in While the real-time market streams Are touching behind you, they never miss You were a solid performer We miss a ready, a hard worker Good luck with your search it’s over It was really nice to meet you The work was great but Money never never sleeps so why should we Cause it’s the market, here or there You are always invisible It makes the difference, if you hire and fire, if you know how far are you from succeeding He will hire you, if he’s allowed to fire someone behind you You only increase your value, if you move away, move it away so quick No one is irreplaceable

Dear City, you look very silent tonight This habit you acquired it survived Under your fingernails and your violent side But you’re so silent You quickly forget about every man Including me, my hunger And my strong desire for you Since I left my small town That day I felt the call on my skin You opened your arms, you trusted me You gave me that fresh look that nowhere in my old and unmoving country I could find A look you eventually You eventually quickly forget You came to the city the same way I did First cultural attraction Then the ongoing obsession Its tentacles won’t let you go, won’t let you While I read your goodbye note On another social messaging for phones Next to that shisha bar Where you used to go to meet someone You were typing in a silent flat You were wrapped in your expat flag But no one will reply in the end We just always leave a message We just always leave a message Then we quickly forget

Confidence has left you behind It's not so easy to bear in mind Focus on what is left Sense your famous bulletproof vest Take responsibility, even if a question keeps Coming in, coming in You've been thinking, you've been thinking, you've been thinking about it Was everything really in my hands like you said? The adrenaline you needed invaded all your veins Your body and the mirror where you tried to hide it You had to break the spell, clear-headed course to Free yourself, see, all the pieces you patiently pick up from the ground I ask you where they are from Are they really mine? I ask you where they are from Are they really mine? Are they really mine? Are they really mine? Are they really mine? Was everything really In my hands like you said?

You're touching the brick walls While on them the night slowly, slowly falls The singing you're still looking for An emotional connection you want for Instantly you're moving on It won't never last very, very long Will it resonate through this rooftop Will you keep the vibe before it's gone Under this white deck of stars I keep trying and keep doing and keep trying hard Anyone can really make a good start But even good start can easily pass out But the dream and vitality They can almost never last When I draw I think about your scribbles left On my heavy travel guides as well I think about that When you're up that high The brick walls close your way out Then I'm learning about you as much as I can draw As much, as much as you come As much as you come into view As much, as much as you come As much as you come into view Deep in my thoughts I delineate the space Hoping you'll appear right soon on the surface Wish I can draw the lines of your face Taking more time in this place You're touching tall brick walls And you're out seeing the scenery from above Instantly you're moving on Instantly you're moving on You're touching tall brick walls

As you run across an underpass To reach a train station Distancing me I can feel this day closing On your bruised and sleazy city At the coming approach of the night I see your hair stream out behind you And you move with such high speed You will disappear soon Once I dreamed about Ellipses and Lines They were fading away into Such a dappled sunset sky over you The same gloaming sky you just leave behind I stop on a dime, can’t find you When I look down right at you Can’t resist your witty comments Your natural flair for Funny remarks When you appear in the doorway Silent for some moments With your questioning look From those distant arms of your city Trying to learn its secrets or To sort your thoughts And I can trace out Ellipses and Lines Fading away to Such a dappled sunset sky over you And you probably won’t realize, realize it

about

White Night Walks is a studio album, recorded at home and at Franz Suono in Padova, Italy. Mix and mastering at Franz Suono by Franz Fabiano.
I chose this name to pay homage to Saint Petersburg and the White Nights, a clear reference to the short story by Fyodor Dostoevsky.
Night Walks are a great tonic for stressful days. So I took a walk, then I did it once again, then I went on for 1 year.
8 songs, 8 ways to face what I have inside, 8 walks into the night.
